Launching a Web3/NFT Venture

Driving both the technical and the sales side at once.

Industry
Web3 / NFT and SBT
Duration
About 1 year (multiple phases)
Team
1 consultative-sales lead + 1 technical-validation lead (Netsujo)
Scope
Consultative sales, exhibition planning and operation, PoC design, driving local-government collaboration
Technologies
NFT, SBT, smart contracts, local-government collaboration design

Background

A venture aiming at real-world implementation of NFT/SBT technology had no partner who could cover technical understanding and business advancement at the same time.

Technical vendors existed, but the client had no outside partner who could also run proposals, negotiation, and exhibition presence toward local governments and businesses. The core problem was that the client could not, on its own, assemble a team covering both technical understanding and business development for launching an NFT/SBT venture.

The challenges

Our approach

Bringing in a technology-only vendor and a sales-only consultant separately creates information gaps that slow decisions. Because Web3 technical specifications feed directly into sales proposals, we adopted a "dual-role" approach — the same team ran consultative sales and technical validation together.

For government audiences, we produced materials that translated the technology into plain language each time, to lower the cost of understanding. On the technical side, we designed the PoC to flexibly absorb spec changes, staging the proposal to match the government’s review schedule.

Results

Key takeaways

  • Built a collaboration structure with multiple stakeholders, including local government, and moved into an adoption-review phase
  • Created multiple points of contact with prospective clients through exhibition presence
  • Defined the legal groundwork and technical-specification outline for SBT use
  • Continued as a technical-advisor-style partner after the adoption-review phase

Before / after

Before
Technology and sales had to be sourced separately, causing information gaps in proposals to local governments and businesses; the Web3 venture had stalled at the concept stage.
After
A dual-role team ran technical validation and sales together, moving local-government collaboration, exhibition presence, and PoC design forward end to end into an adoption-review phase.
