Netsujo Inc. (hereinafter, "the Company") sets out this Privacy Policy (hereinafter, "this Policy") regarding the handling of users' personal information in the services we provide on this website (hereinafter, "the Service"), as follows.

Article 1 (Personal Information)

"Personal information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information: information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details, or other description contained in that information, as well as data relating to a person's appearance, fingerprints, or voiceprint, and information such as a health-insurance insurer number that can identify a specific individual on its own (personally identifying information).

Article 2 (How We Collect Personal Information)

We may ask for personal information such as a user's name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, or driver's license number when the user registers to use the Service.

We may also collect, from our business partners (including information providers, advertisers, and ad-delivery partners; hereinafter "Partners"), transaction records and payment-related information involving personal information of a user, arising between the user and such Partners.

Article 3 (Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The Company collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

Article 3-2 (Handling of Personal Information for Recruitment and Contractor Applicants)

Personal information provided through the Company's recruitment or contractor-application forms is handled as follows.

Examples of information collected
Name, contact details, region of residence, work history, skills, desired conditions, résumé, work-history document, portfolio, interview records, and other information provided by the applicant.
Purpose of use
Selection, contacting the applicant, contract procedures, managing application records, and purposes incidental to these.
Retention period
Application information for candidates who are not hired or contracted is securely deleted within roughly 6 months after the selection process ends, unless there is a legal retention obligation, a dispute, or other legitimate reason, and it is not used beyond that purpose. Where a contract is concluded, information is retained to the extent necessary for contract management and legal compliance.
Use of external services / oversight of subcontractors
We may use external services such as cloud storage and email delivery to store and communicate application information. The Company exercises necessary and appropriate oversight of such subcontractors to ensure they manage personal information properly.
Enquiries and requests regarding an application
For corrections to application content, withdrawing an application, or requests to disclose, correct, delete, or stop using an applicant's personal information, please contact info@netsujo.jp.

Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

1. Except in the following cases, the Company will not provide personal information to a third party without the user's prior consent, unless permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws:

2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the recipient of the information is not considered a "third party" in the following cases: where the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use; where personal information is provided in connection with a business succession due to a merger or other reason; and where personal information is jointly used with a specific party, provided that the fact of such joint use, the items of personal information jointly used, the scope of parties jointly using it, the purpose of use by the users of the information, and the name of the party responsible for managing that personal information have been notified to the individual in advance, or have been placed in a state where the individual can readily access that information.

Article 5-2 (Use of External Services / Outsourcing of Handling)

1. To provide and improve our services, the Company may outsource part of the handling of data, including personal information, to external services, within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use. When doing so, the Company exercises necessary and appropriate supervision over the contractors as required by law. The main external services currently used are as follows.

2. In our services, with the customer's consent, the Company may access the customer's Google Analytics and Google Search Console data on a read-only basis. The customer can revoke this access at any time. Data obtained in this way is used solely to provide analysis and improvement proposals to that customer.

Article 5-3 (Use of Cookies and Access Analytics)

1. To understand how this website is used and to improve matters such as display speed, the Company uses cookies and similar technologies, together with access analytics services (Google Analytics and Vercel).

2. The information obtained in this way includes the pages viewed, the referrer, the type of browser, and the type of device. Information that directly identifies an individual, such as a name or email address, is never sent to these access analytics services.

3. For pages whose URL contains a unique identifier, such as a customer-specific report, that identifier is processed so that it is not sent to Google Analytics.

4. The use of cookies can be refused through your browser settings. If you refuse them, however, some features of this website may become unavailable.

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

1. When the Company is asked by an individual to disclose their personal information, it will disclose it to that individual without delay. However, the Company may decline to disclose all or part of it, and will notify the individual without delay if it decides not to disclose, in any of the following cases:

2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Company will not, in principle, disclose information other than personal information, such as history and characteristic information.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

If a user's personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request that the Company correct, add to, or delete it (hereinafter, "Correction, etc.") through the procedure the Company sets out.

If the Company receives such a request from a user and determines that it needs to respond, it will carry out the Correction, etc. without delay.

The Company will notify the user without delay after carrying out a Correction, etc. under the preceding paragraph, or after deciding not to do so.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

Where an individual requests that the Company suspend the use of, or erase (hereinafter, "Suspension of Use, etc."), their personal information, on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use, or that it was obtained through improper means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.

Based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, where the Company determines it needs to respond to the request, it will carry out the Suspension of Use, etc. of that personal information without delay.

The Company will notify the individual without delay after carrying out Suspension of Use, etc. under the preceding paragraph, or after deciding not to do so.

Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, where Suspension of Use, etc. would require substantial cost or is otherwise difficult to carry out, and the Company can take an alternative measure necessary to protect the individual's rights and interests, the Company will take that alternative measure instead.

Article 9 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)

The content of this Policy may be changed without notice to users, except for matters otherwise provided by law or under this Policy.
