Editorial policy and updates

HAKOMIRO is a curation of what people who use AI struggle with, what they try, and what happens, traced back to public primary sources and first-hand experience.

We keep primary sources and editorial interpretation apart

We distinguish survey responses, meeting records, first-person practice and design reports from providers, and attach the time and subject of each observation. Carrying out a measure and confirming its effect are handled separately, and when a source does not describe a measure, we do not conclude that no solution exists.

26 sources about generative AI and AI use (6 in Japanese, 20 in English). They cover heavy-user developers and experiences in education, government, small business and creative work. GitHub, Product Hunt, Reddit and social media are limited to the primary sources checked this time. We do not infer location from language, and we do not treat counts as public interest or adoption rates.

We distinguish comparative trials, surveys, first-person practice, makers' explanations and public fix records, and state the subject, timing and limits of each. Posts about the same practice on different media count as one observation. Social media means two Bluesky posts. For 10 items we record follow-up questions and the scope checked; for two of them, GitHub targets, we keep checking changes in the fields we collect. Candidates come from four existing feeds, and publication requires checking and editing the primary source.

We check every day and update what we have confirmed

Every day we look at candidate public sources and at follow-ups to sources already published. We check for duplicates and fit with the subject, read the body of the primary source, and publish after editing and review, with the subject, the point in time and the limits laid out. Checking every day does not mean publishing something new every day.

We do not fill in what we cannot confirm, and we do not automatically carry changes in a primary source into published content. The publication date, observation period and editorial check date are shown separately for each source. The sources currently published were last checked on 2026-10-23.

What we publish

We publish public primary sources, edited summaries, topics, and the subject and limits of each source. Internal judgment notes, personal notes, unconfirmed candidates and retrieval history are not published. No account is needed to read.

How we treat source text and images

HAKOMIRO organizes what it confirmed in a primary source in its own words and keeps that apart from editorial interpretation and suggestions. The author or publisher and a link are shown where a source is introduced, so you can read the details in the primary source.

When we quote the original text, we mark the quoted passage clearly and check that it stays within what the purpose needs and that the source is given. For photos, figures and screenshots too, we check the basis for use one by one, such as permission, a licence, or lawful quotation. We do not reproduce something only because a credit is given or because it is publicly available.

This standard was updated as policy on November 3, 2026. Sources published before that are still being reviewed. The review is in progress and continues until every source has been checked.

Use of AI and editorial responsibility

For articles that use AI, we describe its involvement according to the actual production process. We keep what was confirmed in the primary source, editorial judgment, and suggestions to try separate. Netsujo Inc., the operator, is responsible for publication decisions and for responding to corrections.

Advertising and our relationship with Netsujo

Where there is an advertising, sponsorship or affiliate relationship, we show it near the relevant article or link. When we introduce Netsujo’s own products and practices or related parties, we state that relationship and keep confirmed facts apart from editorial evaluation.

Corrections and rights concerns

If you find an error, or have a concern about the rights in published content, please write to info@netsujo.jp with “HAKOMIRO correction / rights” in the subject. Contact details are also on the Contact page.

It helps us to check if you include the URL of the page, the passage concerned, and the reason you are writing. We review what we receive and correct the page or change how it is published where needed. For corrections that affect the content, we record the date and the reason for the change.

Saving in your browser and measurement

“Save to read later” stores only source IDs in the browser you are using. Nothing is tied to an account or synced across devices, and saves or notes from the old site are not carried over automatically. Sources and primary sources can still be read in browsers that do not allow saving.

Following the site-wide consent setting, we measure views of topics and sources, clicks on links to primary sources, and save actions. Search terms and personal notes are not sent. We do not judge how big a problem is, or willingness to pay, from view counts alone. See the Privacy Policy for details.
