What does Netsujo's free consultation cover?

The first free 30-minute consultation covers structuring the issues around Web3, AI, PoCs, and pre-procurement questions. It is fine if your concept is not yet settled — we listen to your current challenge, the idea you are considering, and the internal decision material you need, and clarify the next issues to work through. Covered for free: structuring your consultation topic; an initial read on whether Web3/AI is needed; issues to work through before a PoC; and a rough sense of how to proceed and likely budget. Paid: writing a requirements definition or design document; detailed technical research; writing a PoC design document; and preparing internal sign-off materials.

Can we consult you at the concept stage, before requirements are settled?

Yes — in fact, the concept stage is often when we can help you avoid wasted business, technical, and budget effort the most. Deciding on the technology first tends to lead Web3 or AI projects toward failure. The first step is working out the problem to solve, the stakeholders, the outcome you want, and the budget and timeline available. Covered for free: structuring the premises of your concept; confirming whether Web3/AI is needed; and an initial read on whether to turn it into a PoC. Paid: use-case structuring; a technology-selection report; folding it into a business plan; and writing a PoC design document.

Web3 & AI adoption decisions

What is Web3 consulting?

A service that supports building a business or solving a problem using Web3 technologies such as blockchain, NFTs, DID, and DAOs. We support you end-to-end, from technology selection through implementation.

Are there cases where we should not use Web3?

Yes. If everything can stay within a single company and a normal database is sufficient, it is more rational not to use Web3. We start by working through whether Web3 adoption makes sense at all.

Can we consult you without any Web3 knowledge?

Of course. We will carefully explain the fundamentals of Web3 technology and propose the approach that best fits your business.

What are the benefits of using NFTs in a business?

The main benefits are proving the uniqueness of a digital asset, royalties on secondary sales, community building, and offering a new kind of customer experience.

What is a DAO?

Short for Decentralized Autonomous Organization — a community organization run by smart contracts, which can achieve highly transparent governance.

PoCs & pilot projects

What do I need to know first, to keep a PoC from stalling out?

You should first confirm the hypothesis being tested, the KPIs being measured, the condition for moving to production, and the condition for exiting.

What kind of support do you offer for local-government and public-sector Web3 projects?

We support pilot projects, subsidy applications, partnerships with local businesses, and resident-facing service design.

How long does PoC support take?

It depends on scope, but a typical PoC takes about 1–2 months to run technical verification and deliver a results report.

How long does blockchain adoption take?

It depends on project scale and requirements, but a PoC typically takes 1–2 months, and a full production project typically takes 3–6 months.

Can we ask you to run a smart contract audit itself?

Netsujo's fixed-price package is a pre-procurement review that happens before a formal audit. If a full audit is needed, we prepare materials that make handing off to an audit firm easier.

Development & technology selection

How should we think about the tamper resistance of an NFT?

An NFT is not "an image whose contents absolutely never change." What matters is what is recorded on-chain versus what sits in external storage — if you are using an NFT as a certificate or membership pass, you need to separately confirm the token ID, issuer, owner, issuance history, metadata, and where the image data is stored. If the image or metadata depends only on an external URL, there is a risk that what is displayed can change.

What kinds of development do you handle?

Web applications, smart contracts, DApps, API development, and more — we have particular strength in blockchain-related development.

Which blockchains do you support?

We work with major chains including Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, and Astar, and propose the best fit for your project's requirements.

How do you run a development project?

We follow an agile approach as our default: two-week sprints, with regular reviews and feedback to keep quality on track.

What is a typical development timeline?

An MVP typically takes 1–3 months; a full production product typically takes 3–6 months, depending on the complexity of the requirements.

Can you also handle maintenance and operations after launch?

Yes, we provide ongoing maintenance and operational support after development — monitoring, bug fixes, and continued feature additions.

Do you audit smart contracts?

We develop with a security-first mindset, and can also coordinate with an external specialist audit firm depending on your project's requirements.

Can you integrate with an existing system?

Yes — API integration and data migration are both supported, and we also help modernize legacy systems.

Can you also handle design?

Yes, we can handle end-to-end development including UI/UX design, with a focus on usability.

What does your development team look like?

We assemble the right team for the project's scale, drawing on PM, frontend, backend, and blockchain engineers.

How do you handle testing?

We combine unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for quality assurance, using tools such as Vitest and Playwright.

Do we receive the source code?

Yes — all source code we develop is delivered to you, typically managed and handed over through a GitHub repository.

Can we consult you on legal or regulatory questions?

We can help structure the technical and business-design issues involved. Where a legal judgment is required, we work on the assumption that a lawyer or other specialist is brought in.

Offshore development

Which countries do you work with for offshore development?

We work with a skilled engineering team in Vietnam. Japanese-speaking bridge engineers are on the team, which keeps communication smooth.

Pricing & contracts

What is your consulting fee, roughly?

Consulting typically starts from JPY 300,000 per month; a PoC typically starts from JPY 500,000. It varies with the scale and content of the project, so please get in touch to discuss.

What contract types do you offer?

We support both fixed-price (contract-for-work) and time-and-materials (quasi-delegation) arrangements, and propose the best fit for your project.

Is an initial consultation free?

Yes, the first hearing and consultation are free.

Can we meet remotely?

Yes, we support remote meetings over Google Meet or Zoom, so you can consult us from anywhere in Japan.

Can we consult you even if our concept is still vague?

Yes — in fact, structuring a mix of technical, business, and operational questions from a vague starting point is something we are particularly good at.

Are we obligated to place an order after the first consultation?

No. We will send a proposed next action after the first consultation, but there is no obligation to place an order.

Sales, press, and other enquiries

Where should sales, press, advertising, or publishing enquiries be sent?

Separately from technical or business enquiries, please contact us by email. Sales pitches, staffing/recruitment agency outreach, advertising placements, press enquiries, and publishing offers are handled by email rather than through the contact form.
